Summer Camp: Patchwork Apron; age 10+
Four 2-hour sessions (Mon-Thu, Aug 3-7, 12:00-2:00)

Class Description
This adorable, lined apron is made from 5” fabric squares. With this beginner-friendly project, you will learn to: • Use your sewing machine • Piece together simple patchwork • Align seams • Create simple pockets and sashing • Add edge-stitching and top-stitching Supply list: • 45 (5"x5") charm squares, 12 (10"x10") layer cake squares, OR 5 (18"x21") fat quarters • 1 yard of fabric for lining, pockets, and straps • Sewing machine • Rotary cutter and scissors • Cotton thread • Seam ripper • Spare needles and bobbins • Pins and clips I will provide cutting mats and a 6 x 12 inch ruler for each student's work area. We ask that you please provide your own rotary cutters, pins, thread, bobbins, and extra needles. Two irons and ironing boards will be available for shared-use in the classroom. Don't forget your sewing machine! If you don't have a sewing machine, please let me know ahead of time. I do have a limited number available, as needed.
