Jelly Roll Strip and Flip Quilt

Class Description

Create a stunning quilt top with simple strip-piecing techniques in this Jelly Roll Strip and Flip class. With the just a jelly roll (a collection of 40 pre-cut 2.5-inch strips of fabric) and one additional yard of fabric, you will create unique quilt that is perfect for your home. Class Scheduling and Format: Classes are offered in an open-workshop setting, where students may be working on different projects. Each workshop will have no more than 5 students, and start/end times are staggered to ensure that each student gets individualized attention while working on their project. Be sure to schedule both sessions. Supplies for Strip and Flip x 5 Jelly Roll Quilt with Piano Keys Border: • 40--2-1⁄2×42" precut strips (quilt center) • 1 yard of contrasting fabric for separator strips • 1/2 yard of fabric for binding • 4 yards of fabric for backing Please provide your own rotary cutters, cutting mats, pins, thread, bobbins, and extra needles. Two irons and ironing boards will be available for shared-use in the classroom. If you would prefer to bring your own iron, I do have several small table-top ironing boards available for use. Don't forget your sewing machine! If you don't have a sewing machine, please let me know ahead of time. I do have a limited number available as needed.
