Introduction to Quilting Series

Class Description

Make your own schedule! Start an 8-session series at any time and proceed at your own pace, with four sessions available monthly. Choose how many sessions to take each month, and even skip a month, if you wish. In this 8-session series, you will create a sampler quilt while learning about: - How to pick out fabrics - Techniques for creating quilt elements, blocks, sashing, and borders - Preparing your quilt for quilting and quilting it using stitch-in-the-ditch, and - Adding the binding and labeling your quilt. Class Scheduling and Format: Classes are offered in an open-workshop setting, where students may be working on different projects. Each workshop will have no more than 5 students, and start/end times are staggered to ensure that each student gets individualized attention while working on their project.
